Terms & Conditions

These are the ground rules for using Debt Freedom Service and for asking us to introduce you to a lender. By using the site or submitting a request, you agree to them, so please read them through before you go any further.

Section 1: Getting started

Welcome to Debt Freedom Service. These terms apply from the moment you start using this website, whether you are just looking around, comparing your options or asking to be introduced to a personal loan lender. Please read each section carefully before you continue.

The way we collect, use and share the information you provide is explained separately in our Privacy Policy.

Not comfortable with something here? Then please don't submit your details. You can close this page whenever you like.

Section 2: Using the site

This website is offered for a single purpose: introducing you to a personal loan lender. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for that purpose, and we grant no other rights. When you use the site, you agree that you will not:

  • Disrupt, overload or attempt to break into our servers, systems or networks
  • Access another person's account, or any restricted area or feature of the site, without authorization
  • Copy, scrape or republish the site's content for commercial purposes without our written permission
  • Upload viruses or spam, or send anything that is unlawful, harmful or abusive
  • Use scripts, bots or other automated tools to submit requests, or interact with the site in any deceptive way

If you break these rules, we may suspend or end your access at any time and without notice.

Section 3: What we do, and what we don't

Debt Freedom Service operates a marketing website and nothing more. We are not a lender, we do not broker loans, and we are not a law firm or a credit counseling agency. We have no control over the interest rate or terms of any loan, and we cannot influence a lender's decision. Our role is to connect you with a personal loan provider that works with borrowers in situations like yours, so that you can deal with that lender directly.

Submitting a request through this site does not create a loan, and no lender is required to make you an offer. From that point on, every decision rests with the lender: whether to extend credit to you, at what rate, on what terms and in what form, in line with its own underwriting standards and applicable law.

Our part is the introduction. Your information may be shared with the lender or lenders in our network that we introduce you to, and those lenders may compensate us when an introduction is made. You are never charged for using Debt Freedom Service.

Section 4: Information, not advice

Everything published on this site, including articles, tools and guides, is meant to inform, not to advise. Nothing here is financial, legal, tax or credit advice. Before you take on a loan or make any other major money decision, speak with a qualified professional who knows your whole situation.

We work to keep our content accurate and up to date, but Debt Freedom Service makes no warranty of any kind, express or implied, that it is accurate, complete or suited to any particular purpose. If you act on what you read here, you do so at your own risk.

Section 5: Loan matching: what to know

Any figures, rates or example scenarios shown on this site are for illustration only. They are not promises, and they say nothing about what any lender will offer you or what you will qualify for. If a lender does make a proposal, it is based on that lender's own review of your credit, income and circumstances at the time you are introduced.

  • Example figures and rates are illustrative and are not guaranteed
  • Loan products vary from lender to lender, and terms may differ by state
  • Exploring your options typically begins with a soft inquiry, which generally does not affect your credit score. A full application, and any hard inquiry that comes with it, is a separate step that the lender will explain
  • Taking out a loan is a serious commitment. With any loan, missed payments can lead to fees, added interest, collection activity or damage to your credit
  • Only the lender you are introduced to decides on approval, rate and terms, using its own underwriting criteria
  • Any loan you accept is governed by that lender's own terms and by applicable state and federal law

Section 6: Lenders and third-party sites

This site may link to personal loan lenders, service providers and other websites that we do not operate, and we may work with some of them. Debt Freedom Service does not control these parties and is not responsible for what they say, how they operate or how secure they are. Any arrangement you make with a lender is strictly between you and that lender.

Before you accept any offer, read the lender's own terms, fee schedule and privacy policy in full.

Section 7: Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law permits, Debt Freedom Service and its directors, officers, employees, representatives and successors are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, punitive or consequential damages, such as lost revenue or lost data, arising from:

  • Your use of, or inability to use, the website
  • Any decision you make based on content published on this site
  • Unauthorized access to your personal information
  • The conduct, content or actions of any lender you are introduced to, or of any other third party
  • Technical problems, interruptions or outages affecting the service

Section 8: Governing law and updates

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from them will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

We may change these terms from time to time. A change takes effect as soon as it is posted on this page, and by continuing to use the site after that you accept the updated terms. The version shown here is always the current one.
